I just needed to share this! I love Opossums. I got to know them when I worked with the rescued education opossums at the Wildlife Care Center of Virginia. They are amazing animals. They are not affected by the bite of a venomous snake, they have more teeth than any other mammal, and their babies are the size of Lima beans.3. Although they look menacing (or like giant rats) they are not known to bother people (or your cat but they might eat your chickens eggs).2. Remember when visiting the wilds you are VISITING someone else’s home. Be sure to know where your pets are, be cool don’t let them hassle wildlife..Opossum included!
